Embracing randomness

Jun 11, 2020

There are four types of knowledge: things that you know you know, things that you know you don't know, things that you don't know you know, and things that you don't know you don't know.

Seek to understand the latter. What is it that you don’t know you don’t know

Well, by definition, you wouldn’t know.

And the only way to get more clarity is through being open to randomness.

To new experiences.

To picking up a book on a completely random topic. Or conversing with a friend who works in an entirely different field.

And in the process, staying curious, assuming nothing, and asking a lot of questions.
