Two mistakes
It's one thing to give an idea (or a side hustle) a chance, and decide to take a break from it. It's another thing altogether to consider starting something, but not even take the first steps to get it off the ground.
Think of these 4 possibilities:
There are things that you know you know. Other things that you know you don’t know. Stuff you don’t know you know. And things that you don’t know you don’t know.
Seek to understand the latter. What is it that you don’t know you don’t know?
Well, by definition, you wouldn’t know.
And the only way to get more clarity is through being open to randomness.
To new experiences.
To picking up a book on a completely random topic. Or conversing with a friend who works in an entirely different field.
And in the process, staying curious, assuming nothing, and asking a lot of questions.

There are so many steps between where you are, and where you want to be. Lots of conversations to have. Decision to make. Events to attend. It's hard to see the end.
